I'm interested in a sales trainee role, but I'm really trying to figure out if I can actually pay my bills on this. In this type of role, will most of it be commission, or is there a decent base? Just want to know what I'm getting into before I accept any offers.

That comes down to the company. Most early sales are commission-heavy, but it’s a great way to get started and learn.

Everything depends on company. I would switch to commission based for the higher potential income, but can’t afford to take the lower initial income. My bills have to be paid now, not when commission starts paying out.

I manage a few new producers, and I tell every candidate the same thing: your first year is about survival. The base pay usually won’t be great, but if you stick with it and learn how to prospect, you can double or triple your income in year two. Just make sure you’ve got some savings to get through the early months.

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

Question to Leadership!
1. You are calling all the employees in the office & just providing lunch? That's all for completing 150 years?
2. You would ask questions, and whoever is able to answer it, you will give some merchandise only to them?, And the other people are not your employees?
Why are you even organizing it? You think people would come from far places just for lunch?
