Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

I don’t have experience with valuing social media accounts, but as a hypothetical buyer, I’d have these ready:
Frequency of posts,
Historical number of followers in each platform,
Historical average number of reactions/views,
Ad spend, if any
27k+ followers sound nice, but doesn’t mean anything if they followed a while ago and/or barely react.
I have all the metrics lined up. The follower count is just a threshold that must be met in order to activate monetization. Views & gifts is what pays in regards to TikTok. So it'll be the breadwinner, everything else is part of the ecosystem to be built around it. Paid subscriptions to the content are available as well since we've passed all the requirements
How can you prove “revenue potential” and if there is an ability to generate revenue why hasn’t it been done? I think having some reliable cash flow associated with the brand name would make valuation a lot easier
Because the page is monetized already. We've met all prerequisites except for the Creativity Beta Program which requires 100k views in the past 30 days. Its monetized for lives, subscriptions, & can have a store to sell products D2C. I just don't have the bandwidth or passion for this like I did when I started a few years ago. Currently building my organization & helping advise for startups. I've laid groundwork, just needs someone to take the reigns & I'm fine with that
0 revenue, 0 named trademarks, 0 tangible assets, all around L. How are you coming up with the 18k valuation, what multiple are you working off of with $0 reported revenue? If you’re using comparable comps, there’s millions of tiktok accounts with more followers that are equally worthless. Males interested in science and education is hardly a niche audience.
While I’m not doubting your account’s ability to make money, no buyer is going to take you seriously until you make your first dollar. Saying you’re monetized already means diddly squat until you start showing some actual revenue metrics.
