I found out a soon to be 2nd year associate got a 10k raise making his salary 110k now, while I, the soon to be 3rd year associate got a 2k raise making my salary 107k. So now the 2nd year male associate is making more money than me. How do I bring this up to the partners?

Looking to change up my MO when it comes to organization. Litigator Hive Mind, how do you guys keep yourselves organized? Do you have a particular system? Looking for more tactile methods (post its, whiteboards, journals, etc.). Is it normal for entry-level consultants to only get crazy boring tasks? I started out 7 months ago in one of the big four, and I lowkey just edit powerpoints all day. Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

What value do TPMs provide? In my company all they seem to do is tell other people to work on things they’re already working on, and incessantly nag people on slack for status updates and timelines which you’ve already provided.

EY folks - any clear direction from leadership on office reopening in DMV area?

I currently live in NYC and my lease is up in October. I’m thinking about moving my stuff back to my parents (decently close to the city) and finding a studio somewhere with decent weather through January. Any recommendations on short term furnished rentals and any recs on an ideal location? Looking to stay in the US given corona and somewhere where I can run / bike in the colder months.

I’ve gained about 10 lbs these last 5 weeks and now my punishment will be losing 20 lbs in 3 weeks

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
