Hello all,
I am currently in the process for interviewing for a role at Amazon for their office in Basildon in corporate (HR if it wasn't implied by my title). Spoke to the recruiter and on my application it will be £55k base but wondered what level is that and what leeway I have for bonus (sign on) and what is the RSU looking like. I am also needing some help if possible please on the interview process as I would really like to get this since it is my dream job.
Any help appreciated.

Anyone needing references at pwc ?
Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

Rising Star
New talent cheap. Opportunities to get rid of low performers
Some service areas are cold (deals, consulting). While other areas are not (audits and tax returns still have to get done). And people’s skills are not always immediately transferable (and consultants may not want to pivot and be auditors).
I got the option to transfer service lines
Bunch of reasons. Some service lines are doing better than others, and firms would rather fire than pay to retrain staff. Also some recent experienced hires or people who have long tenures are too expensive, so they'd rather bring in cheaper labor.
Business 101. It’s happened in every recession/depression since the industrial revolution. Use the economy as an excuse to get rid of the bottom 10% of performers and call it “restructuring”. Then bring in their replacements at a cheaper rate with more potential.
Magic
Can't speak to other firms but EY has not and has no current plans to do layoffs.
Managing direct at the risk consulting practice in the south east market got laid off. Don’t wanna say specific office cos it’s a small team!!
It’s just churn.
