I currently live in NYC and my lease is up in October. I’m thinking about moving my stuff back to my parents (decently close to the city) and finding a studio somewhere with decent weather through January. Any recommendations on short term furnished rentals and any recs on an ideal location? Looking to stay in the US given corona and somewhere where I can run / bike in the colder months.

Define ideal beyond running and biking. So far, almost anywhere in the sunbelt from LA to Charleston seems decent. Are you trying to be in a city? Major city? Suburbs?

LA might be good. It will be a decent contrast vs NYC too.

Thinking something that’s a change of pace from NY. Ideally close to a body of water. And in an ideal world not a huge need for a car. But really open.

Bar Harbor is quite nice. Lots of outdoor stuff to do.

Any thoughts on Denver?

I hear boulder is the place.

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
