I have 2 offers, one from JPMC ( LOB IS Consumer and Community Banking) and the other from Wells Fargo. Both are giving similar roles, and exactly same pay. Location is Hyderabad. I tried for revision of pay but it didn't work.
Could anyone help me understand which one is better to join in terms of hikes, technology used and work life balance. I have to join on Tuesday, 16 Aug.

Any US companies hiring remote @ Canada ?
I’m considering leaving Google to go work at a startup, I’m wondering if things don’t work out how easy it’d be to come back to Google. I’d love to hear from people who returned to Google how the process was. Does the company value your previous tenure at Google, or do they treat you like any external candidate who never worked at Google before?
Any financial analysts here?

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

1) Accept the offer on the table
2) Tell the recruiter you have an offer, that helps a lot when negotiating
This!
Look, I don't know what industry you are in so take this with a grain of salt. It's a tough job market and I wouldn't walk away from an offer on the table for a potential offer that might never come. You could always accept the offer, ask for a 2-week notice and hope the other place gives you an answer within that 2 week..
I was in a similar situation, company A made an offer, I accepted, then ghosted, asked company B if they were still considering me because I had another offer, they said yes but not ready to move forward. Been 3 week and I got nothing - in this market just say yes to everything until it actually comes to fruition- a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush
I would let them know I have an offer on the table, this will usually speed up their process & present you with an offer as well
Get the offer in writing and accept it. You can always leave if you get offer B.
Take the offer from company A then see if you get an offer from company B. If you get an offer that’s better — Take it. Keep this information to yourself. Don’t tell company A until you get offer from company B.
This happened to me 2 years ago.. and YES, you might burn a bridge with company A, but you have to do what’s best for you.
I actually felt bad, but in the grand scheme of things… companies will do whatever is best for their bottom line and if that’s letting you go with no notice, they will do just that. You owe no loyalty to either company.
Take the offer that’s going to best fit your needs.
Take offer (A), say nothing, should (B) come in with offer, make your best choice. Look out for you, as employer (B) as any employer is looking out for their needs. I don't know your field of profession, but food for thought:)
100% tell the recruiter you have another offer but express your strong interest in company B. This signals that other companies have vetted you and presumably not found any crazy issues and will likely speed up the process. It may even get you a higher offer. The only downside is you don't get an offer from company B, which you currently don't have anyway.
Never tell the recruiters what you have in your hand; accept the offer on the table as the other company is looking at other candidates for the job and u could end up with nothing.
Your only loyalty is to you.
Take the offer from A, if B offers a better situation, take that, but don't wait for it.
Do not feel guilty, no matter what, no company will ever be as loyal to you as you are to them.
Don't let them know about the other job ,just make sure you secure the job B which is your favorite and then you can resign from the job A
I would let the recruiter know that you have another offer. If you start working for Company A you can always take some time off to interview with Company B even if you just started working for Company A.
It did happen in a few companies that I worked for.
Congrats! Best feeling when you have multiple offers!
Leave it out!
A bird at hand is better than 100 on a tree.
that doesn’t apply to this case though
When you can choose, take something base on your passion and best offer package.
I'd advise you not to inform the hiring company that you may have other opportunities coming up....That said company, will not give you the courtesy to inform you, that you may be losing your job!...You're your own advocate.
Accept the offer that's available. You can always keep your options open.
Interested to hear what your decision has been. I would look at what are the elements that make the role at company B stand out. Is it content or was it the promise of a higher salary and other benefits. If it is the latter say that you are also in the running for another job and that will help in your negotiations with company A. Being open and honest doesn't hurt you in the end. However they choose to handle it is up to them and that will show you if you want to work there.
If everything sounds good, tell them that you are interested and are deeply considering joining their team, but just to be completely transparent there is another offer on the table from company xyz and to be fair to everyone you want to hear what they have to say before coming to a final decision.
I wouldn't risk saying that. Makes it sound like you are placing no value on Company A's offer. Either accept the offer for what it is, or don't. They don't need to know all the details. Every company likes to think the are the best and hope their employees think so as well.
