After starting a new job, how long should you wait before....

1) Scheduling appointments (doctor/dentist)
2) Taking a long weekend
3) Taking off for a week

Hi, I’m looking to switch into marketing (entry level), as consulting is not aligned with my skill set/passions. Does anyone know of any ad agencies in LA that have good work-life balance, good pay, PTO, great culture, training? Your help means more than you know!!! Looking to do informational interviews and try to network my way in, as I feel the barrier to entry was much harder than anticipated. Anything helps, thank you so much!
