I'm such a people watcher, and I love exploring things about people from other cultures. I love that this season allows me to meet and talk to people from different countries, and learn what they value during a special time like the holidays. That would be my favorite part of working the holidays. What's yours?

Honestly, I love the holidays because people travel so much that I am constantly meeting and seeing new people. We have our regulars, of course. But we also get lots of out of towners which is really fun.

My work actually gets quieter, I enjoy the vibe. Just chilling chatting to customers and staff. Very festive.

I like sharing that time with co workers and making that time special for them since they are working. Whether that be playing Christmas music, bringing small gifts and snacks

I love that perspective. Connecting with people from different cultures and hearing their holiday traditions is such a special part of this season—it really reminds you how human and shared it all is.

I hate working the holidays. Nothing about it is joyful at all.

Hello all!
I'm 26, I studied economics but I don't know why I'm not much into investing/trading. Someone else like this?
I recognize this is not a very good approach for someone with money "knowledge" and I would like to change this mindset. My main weakness is that I easily get bored of following the market and that I do not see big opportunities. Any advice?
Where to start learning, general advice for LT and ST investments, things you learnt, books that changed your pov on the topic etc.

Thx!

What are my chances of finding a role with another company that'll let me work in BI/data analytics and build up my skill at the same time? Been thinking of leaving ACN.

Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. It’s now been a week and both recruiters have been unresponsive. Did I just lose this offer bc I tried to negotiate a more equitable comp pack, or is it a slow process?
