Wife is 35 weeks pregnant and recently tested positive for Covid. Symptoms are mild to moderate. Doctor’s say no impact to baby if symptoms continue to remain under control. Mid 2020, I turned down an opportunity to jump ship from my small law firm to a big law firm. At the time I had 4 years of practice under my belt with managerial experience. I thought the offer was reasonable, come in at a 2nd year level, but with the uncertainty of the times I played it safe. Now I regret it. My in-laws used to own a jewelry store, and they had this Omega quartz watch in their storage. I can understand why this wasn’t sold during their clearance sale lol. I had no idea Omega made stuff like this in 1987! I guess they couldn’t help it after the rise of quartz watches in the 70s to 80s. I doubt they’re worth anything even to this day. I see them on eBay for $700-1200, so who knows…
