I’m working with an agency right now that has me on a fixed weekly rate. We have off this coming Monday for MLK day, but I’m working the other 4 days that week. In this type of scenario would you bill the full week because of the weekly billing contract, or pro-rate for the day off?

Does anyone else struggle with being a freelancer while also being a natural leader? I always feel in freelance roles that they would prefer I just shut up (even though my ideas have been praised and implemented plenty), esp within my own dept.
