In order to avoid "per my last email" hostility, I started using chatgpt to write my emails and it’s a godsend! I just write out my rough email and ask chat to revise it with a “friendly yet professional tone” and done! Highly recommend! Plus it alleviates me taking an hour to stress write/ rewrite emails to people lol

What holiday party did you get?
Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.

My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small.
