Hi All, I am about to have salary discussion for an opportunity with Credit Suisse. Can you please let me know what is the max salary that can be offered to 11 YOE Java developer joining in AVP position? Do they offer VP position to 11 YOE by any chance? Also how is the current situation within CS considering all the financial turmoil and layoff news? Will it be a wise decision to move to CS from Barclays at this point of time?

Hello 🦈s,
Role: SAP ABAP
Current: 8 LPA
I am having offer from LTI for 10.5 Fixed & 1 Mouritech for 12 LPA Fixed.
I have also cleared PwC India interview & HR has told me that they can give me 10.5 as Fixed (Before 12 offer). I have not yet received the offer letter.
Now my question is will PwC consider this offer for the re-negotiation? Or will they not release the offer letter itself?
Also what should be my ask for a SAP ABAP Developer with experience of 3.3 Years?
Thanks in Advance 🙏

Yes it is safe. They don't layoff, unless your performance is too bad or there is ethics and compliance issues from your end.
I have been critical of PwC india but in this matter they are good, won't layoff people.

If we deny to work on weekends or late at night do they mark your performance as bad or is that considered as behaviour issues ?
Depends on a lot of factors, and of course things can never be absolute, but PwC did not lay off any employees during the COVID lockdown period
PwC India doesn't lay off. Stability & security is 100%
No layoffs. There is a lot I don't like about this company but one good thing is your job security
