Seyfarth is 1950 with up to 60 pro bono included. 3 days in office. Less comp than Morgan Lewis.
I interviewed at both. Can confirm info about Seyfarth above. It was my sense it was heavily enforced. For Morgan Lewis, it was the same in-office requirement. But I interviewed with the labor management practice group so there would be a lot of travel. It didn’t seem like it was enforced within the group itself but enforced at the office level. I know a lot of associates at ML that left to go to other firms( including Seyfarth). From what I heard and experienced from interviewing, I think the people in the group are great but it’s just a lot of work and unpredictability.
ML associate, not in NYC, but one of my fav partners at the firm is in the NYC office. Our group works a lot across offices and overall we have a really great group of people. I was at a boutique before, and have 0 regrets about the switch. In office is 3 days a week, some offices more strict than others, 1900 to be bonus eligible but LEPG expectation is 2000.
