Interviewed and got offered a promotion at my current company (Internal audit). Promotion was barely $15K more. I was expecting $30K more, going from individual contributor to people leader/SM. I’m also relocating somewhere 12% higher. The salary was non-negotiable and they’re not willing to give me relocation assistance. I accepted verbal offer after I was told if they knew I’d needed more, they’d choose the other candidate. I feel taken advantage of and excitement is gone. Any advice?

I’m in my 4th year at a small plaintiffs’ firm. Past two years I’ve received meager raises (5k) and terrible bonuses (3k). My boss prides himself on allowing me to gain experience so I have more courtroom experience than most attorneys with twice the experience. As I’ve applied for other firms, I’ve been denied interviews based on how my boss is perceived in the community. I’ve gathered professional references from opposing attorneys and other attorneys we work with but still can’t land. Help

Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.
