However she carries this enormous weight of responsibility, for needing to do everything, do it right, make sure it's perfect, not trusting colleagues to help. Recently, the CEO and my boss, the VP gave me the latitude to promote myself and "write my own" job description. I've been the Marketing Manager of this company for about 7 months. Already received 1 raise.

I found out a soon to be 2nd year associate got a 10k raise making his salary 110k now, while I, the soon to be 3rd year associate got a 2k raise making my salary 107k. So now the 2nd year male associate is making more money than me. How do I bring this up to the partners?
