I completely understand that! I was sent a literal copy and paste message with “Rejection Letter Template” at the top of the email. It’s very frustrating and hurts your confidence. It can feel very hopeless sometimes but don’t give up! You will find something! Try updating your resume or adding some character to it. Make it stand out.

What I have seen and noticed. Platforms basically when you do a job application, they pull your résumé and set it in a pool and it just sits there and sits there and sits there. That being said I’ve also seemed to wear if you go directly to the website and apply through that it’s more of a quicker response from the actual employer. Point of reference would be applied directly to a website within the next day. I got a response that where they had viewed my résumé and asked for a zoom call the next business day from that Monday, I had my second zoom call that Thursday at 10:30 in the morning by 1:30. I had an offer in hand Family and I accepted, but definitely look at the main website and apply there that might knock out some of the BS time.
Well some of the jobs that I've been sending applications to I've gotten some responses while others they just act like you don't exist. And I think it's kind of rude that a lot of these jobs that you send applications and resumes to whether in person or online don't even have the decency to say well we got your application and thank so very much for applying to our job but at the present time the qualifications that you have shown us doesn't really match what we're looking for in a candidate or they would just tell you don't call us will call you and a good majority of the time the jobs are just basically just not even answer when you send in the resume which I honestly feel that it's very rude for them to do that. But my advice to you my friend whoever you are is keep your head up, have faith in your belief in your religion and may the good Lord Jesus Christ almighty God help you much less God you to your next job, I know it's tough out there I've been out of a job nearly 5 months and it is hard, it is very very hard, and what upsets me the most is the simple fact that a lot of these jobs have so much expectations in there future candidate but when you sent out a resume to them they don't even have the GD decency to at least respond back to you saying we got your resume and we thank you so very much for showing interest in the position that we have posted. And I know it's frustrating it is very frustrating I've gone through that many times since I started working when I was in high school back in 1987, so my advice to you who ever you are is just have faith, put your faith in God sign up for one of those type of groups that are similar to the situation that you're involved in and maybe they could help you, in other words you know try networking with other people who may know any type of job openings that are in your area and you never know, maybe one of the people that you're networking with will lead you to a possible job opening that will help you land your next job, good luck. ✌🏿✊🏿💙💯

I’ve heard back from about a third that I have applied to, but all were automated rejection messages and almost written the exact same.
I've applied to over 30 new job listing but haven't hears from even one. Job listings are there but companies are not just haring .
I have sent 250 applications over the past 2 week, I have had 3 interviews and 10 times I have applied for one job and then they call me and offer a sales job.
I’m in the same position, applied to so many jobs and not a single response. I’ve resorted to employment agencies and I go in, they look over my resume and say we’ll contact you if we find something and they never do, so yeah, job market is tough right now.

I’m just getting rejection emails.. some within an hour of applying! Then there are jobs I hear nothing at all, the status of application never even updates. I’m exhausted with it.. I’m kinda giving up at this point. I feel like I’ll never get back into work after redundancy. Even agencies are messing me about doing bait and switch with jobs Iv applied for. Iv had 2 interviews since February, the first never even got back to me afterwards and even though the second seemed to go well, I wasn’t the candidate they chose. Feeling pretty low at the minute
Im in the same boat as you. Everyday I apply with job apps, filling out applications to the companies directly and still no luck. I'm 50yrs old and in good shape to work warehouse, construction, etc, yet still no replies.
I actually had an interview last week and have one this week lined up if I don’t get the job. Some people I know are still looking for 6 months now. Honestly and sorry for making it political. Until congress or trump steps in banning overseas workers there won’t be jobs for the qualified Americans other than McDonald’s. I’m a tech 5 rep and might have to take orders at McDonald’s to pay bills
I have not received any response and i needs to definitely get something soon or ill loose my home.
I’ve been applying to places ever since I lost my job in early 2025, had a couple of interviews that same year and the following day after the interview I was rejected. I continue to apply to places but never hear back. I called some employment agencies, told me they had some work, I was happy that I’ll have job soon and next thing I know, the agency calls me to say the employer has put that position on hold, so much for that. Then recently had the same thing happen , agency contacted me saying they had a job for me, it’s very close to my house and I would start Tuesday. Monday I get a call from the agency saying the employer is taking people who rely on public transit first, I ask the lady from the agency if I would be working at all this week, she hangs on me, I get home and email her, asking when I’d be working, no response. I’ve contacted other agencies but nobody gets back to me, just goes to show how tough the job market is. Why do these companies put a job posting online if they’re not going to hire anyone?
I just decided to give up and apply for SSI, not gonna lie…

Depending on the role you are applying for (entry level to Sr Leadership) and the size of the company, it can take 3+ weeks to hear anything back. The larger the company and the more Senior the role, the longer it takes.
It’s disheartening when you receive email rejections or nothing at all. I think my experience is doing me in, my wage rate would be higher.
