Where do IT leaders hangout on the internet? I’ve been building a SaaS tool the last 6 months focused on making life easy for data analysts and scientist to find and understand data. Basically, an internal google search for data. I was able to raise funds and build a product and received positive initial feedback. I’m curious if anyone knows any spots to find data or analytics directors on forums? I’ve been using LinkedIn and Reddit to promote, but curious if I’m missing any obvious channels.

Been experiencing hairfall for the past 7 years and have reached the stage where I'm almost fully bald now at 33. Was an average looking guy with hair, and look pretty unattractive without it. My sense of self-esteem is rock bottom and I haven't felt happiness in a very long time. Pretty much lost the will to live but carrying on for the sake of loved ones.

How do you feel excited about life? I want to look forward to life but everything feels so pointless.

What are thoughts on moving from the agency side to the vendor side? I am a hard worker, but don’t feel like being mentally abused anymore. Are the rumors about vendors true? Better pay? Better hours?

My back hurts so I’ve been laying on the floor looking at Fishbowl all day instead of doing my job.

How would you deal with this situation? I had someone I used to work with reach out to seek a referral at EY and help her prepare for the potential interview. I don’t like her, and I don’t think she’ll be a great fit (she was really hard to work with; she would never take accountability/ownership, give away most of her work to me). She is being really pushy about it and I’m such a people-pleaser that I don’t know what to do about it

I work for a small (yet quickly scaling) tech startup that is fully remote regardless of Covid. Outside of healthcare and vacation, what benefits do others in similar companies have? Or even better, what do you expect? We are going to be hiring a lot of people while watching our dollars (limited investment dollars available) but need to make sure we are competitive. Do you have things like matching 401ks, office allowance, phone/internet stipend, etc.

I’ve found myself becoming a bit cynical after working in marketing for such a long time, can anyone relate?
