Is global mobility option available for people in PDM talent model in case of H1B Visa maxout and perm in process?

I’m 27 and looking for advice. Aside from my 401k and HSA, I do not invest. Every paycheck goes straight into my bank account, and between living in a HCOL city and being underpaid by about $20k (I’m trying to find a new job, don’t worry), I feel like I’m way behind on my money goals.

I feel like my first step should be opening a high yield savings account, which I’m planning to do with Marcus today. How can I “make my money work for me?” Any advice is appreciated!

Anyone else struggle to understand offshore resources sometimes?

I work with a team in India and communication has been hard. I’m fluent in Hindi and sometimes switch to Hindi so it’s easier but when non-Indians are in the meeting I obviously have to stick to English.

Indian accents and bad grammar make it hard for me to understand wtf they’re saying 😭

Does anyone have Recommendations on how to get up to speed/good questions to ask during the phone screen?

I work in a midsize firm and we have the basic subscription to westlaw, which doesn’t include the ability to see filed briefs, motions, etc without incurring additional costs. I’m wondering if there is a service in the NJ/PA area that gives you access to previously filed motions and briefs? So if I’m drafting a summary judgment I could search the service and find a similar one. If this doesn’t exist.. I think I found the next million dollar idea lol

I’m hosting family from America in my home in Europe this week. Being away for just a couple of years has made me really aware of American tendencies. They’re fat and literally are only always thinking of their next meal. We can eat, and they want to talk about dinner. How flexible is Deloitte with the start date because of H1b processing time? I signed the offer mid-may for July 12 because it seemed realistic enough for premium H1b transfer. But the lawyers seem slower than what I was used to and July 12 does not seem likely. Is this going to be a problem?

Joining Deloitte. I just submitted my documents to immigration. How long will it take to file my H1B case with USCIS? It’s wired big company like Deloitte is using third party law firm for H1B transfers.
