Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

I have Outlook (just for work), Gmail and I still have my old AOL account -- the last one's mostly junk at this point, but it's a good email address to put down for something where i don't want to give out my Gmail or my work account. They have very separate roles.

There’s a lot of spam and phishing associated with Hotmail. It’s also like still having an AOL account. Dated. Old. I would switch to Outlook or Gmail.
I just opened an AOL email account. Never had one, sounded fun. Shorter than GMail, everyone knows it when named. Free, but they spam their premium paid tier too much.
I have yahoo! Reason is so many recruiters have this email. I landed 3 back to back remote roles. Via a recruiter’s email. My Gmail account roles don’t reach out. It’s too new. So I continue to use yahoo & keep it on my resume.

Yikes! I still use Hotmail.
I still have it and it would be too much of a hassle to move everything over since I use it for shopping and official stuff. Gmail for personal. Ironically there's virtually no personal email anymore. But I figure they'll peg me for a Hotmail as soon as they meet me anyway so why bother changing.
Hotmail is a flex in 2026. In the same sense, I have a weird, untested suspicion that Gen Alpha are going to go crazy on Facebook.

Like many of the others, it's good to set up and email specifically for your job search. And if they are basing your qualifications off your email, that would be very strange!
Someone reached out to me on Friday about a referral and I literally said to my partner ‘how do they still have a Hotmail address and get jobs!”
