1. People on FB make the layoffs seem more dramatic than they are. We had some fat to trim and the pandemic accelerated some trimming. 2. We are in a pandemic so I’d imagine the risk of being laid off at Deloitte shouldn’t be too much different than your current role (you’ll have a better understanding of what one has a higher risk). 3. You’re just applying so maybe don’t get too worked up until you have an offer in hand, for now just put your best foot forward and see where that gets you.
