Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

I think part of it is just that to some people, doing anything out of the ordinary is somehow gaming the system. But if you're able to do your work, and do it several times over, it shouldn't matter to anyone. It makes me think of a line from the late great Freddie Blassie: I've got so much talent I should have been born triplets.

That's a great way to look at it! No one was harmed in the making of this dollar...
I think the Myers’s Briggs personality test explains this nicely. Some people, ESTJ and ISFJ’s are there to establish order and preserve the system. That’s how they are wired. They will never do OE.
Others like INTPs will question the system and will experiment with drawing outside the lines.
ISTPs are out and about, wandering the world. They often do not end up in a corporate career but if they do, they’d experiment with OE.
I think it all comes down to wiring.

Agreed! Upbringing, education, and opportunities help develop one's personality. Working with a number of different personalities develops one's desire to question, deny, or participate in OE.
