Is it ethical to spend HUGE amounts on client entertainment ? These people can buy their own USOpen tickets…?

Does quitting a consulting company in about 6 to 7 months of joining earn a bad reputation especially if your next jump is to a client position (to be clear not being poached!!) ? Because the industry is small and niche - will this impact my career in a negative manner?

Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.

P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.

Hi everyone! With an internal promotion to manager I am wondering if the salary raise is negotiable? I know a few managers on the team hired in at 110-120 thousand but have also heard I can expect a 5% raise or less moving up internally, which would put me around 25% below that.
