Does anyone use Google Classroom for ECSE ? I was supposed to have it up and running by Thursday. Luckily, all of my kiddos came. I didn’t take the workshop this summer and the person that gave a brief overview last week talked so fast that I couldn’t understand what was being said.

I can manage my classroom better if I don’t respond to emails outside of office hours. This gives my mind a break and by consequence refreshes me for the next day. It also sets a boundary.

Good Evening My Fellow Christian Educators! I realize it is going to be challenging for me this year...with so many of my students performing below grade level expectations in ELA and MATH and also ensuring that all students follow the COVID Guidelines in the classroom. I still feel hopeful that God will bless me with the knowledge on how to effectively impact each one of those kids. Let's remember to keep all educators lifted in prayer this year.

How to have safe environment- when health office is small, only 1 entrance? Best way to fit students in classrooms with desks 6’ apart?

Our nurse has an email group of our states school nurses that she can bounce ideas off, or ask questions etc. Is there anything like that for secretaries? Teachers are keen to share how they handle things in their classrooms, but every school does attendance, has messages that need to be relayed thru the day, all these things going on, I just always wonder how it's handled elsewhere. I took this position two years ago and I don't like "This is just how it's always been done".

I will be teaching Chemistry this year in a modular classroom with no lab area. Any suggestions on virtual labs? We have chromebooks at ourvschool.

What do you do when you need a sub? What kinds of plans work best for subs in the Spanish classroom? I have needed subs lately and have found it hard to plan lessons that aren’t just busy work.

Been seeing a guy for a few months now and I can’t stop myself from getting in my head. I’ve never been in a solid relationship before like this and I’m afraid I’m going to mess it up. Hello fellow techies!! I have a question.. it seems like my team and I aren’t being as effective as other Instructional Techs in other districts surrounding us and it drives me bonkers!!!!
