Please don’t create another opportunity for him to show his face.
No it’s not.
Can’t imagine a brand signing off on that.
I feel like there’s someone who works at your agency that could answer this question???
You’ve got the wrong one then. Ours is great.

I don’t believe their likeness can be used in paid advertising outside of campaigning while still in office.
Don’t do that, he won’t find it funny and will find a way to sue you or your company and will probably win based on right to publicity since it’s his NIL unless it’s an obvious parody.
No. Dude learn some fundamental legal around advertising. And your senior?
Petty grammar flexes aside the undeniable truth hasn’t changed here despite the deflection. Shouldn’t you have some semblance of the legal parameters in advertising from either experience or research as a senior copywriter? Because the desire to feature a politician in an advertisement is telling that you do not understand the functions of government and that people publicly voted into government offices are charged with the responsibility to protect and defend their communities from the threat of corruption and unlawful influence from businesses/ corporations. Anyone with a conscious mind or iota of understanding of the legal standards or ethical principles within our industry should know that the idea to put a president in an ad is just plain ridiculous..
My legal department never signed off on “parody.” Even “inspired by” was too much for them most of the time.
