Is it normal for it to take a long time to onboard a GPS project? Got confirmed back in November but awaiting to onboard and fear I may be laid off due to my extended time on the bench.

I got laid off from deloitte. Now i work in cre asset management. I don't love my job. I am on visa (opt stem) . I need to work on finding happiness with my work to be more productive and be happy. I am very depressed and therapy isn't helping. If anyone is in a similar situation or can offer support or advice I would greatly appreciate it. TIA.

I was wanting to hit the job market towards the end of this year, but now I worry that if I do move companies, the recession could put me in position of last one hired first one fired. Anyone hearing noise about layoffs?

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

Would like to understand market comp for in office CD roles, 4+yrs m&a experience and 25-40 advisories under belt. It’s an F500. Basically a pay cut of like 60-75% lol, idk if they’re testing me or serious. Edit: Happy to give any additional details.

IMPORTANT

I have applied for reimbursement for mediassit insurance for rs 11500 rs but when i checked back it was showing applied for 45000 rs and i thought they will check the bills and approve only around 8-9k But... But... They have approved 36k rs and showing ready for payment. I have raised a query because i dont want things to be messed up and my father have regular dialysis everyweek.

Did this happened to someone else? Should I worry about this.?
