That could happen, but thinking about failure so early isn't a good sign. If you're going into that situation, you should be thinking about you'd put your imprint on the firm and work to make its name recognizable. If you're worried and thinking that may not happen, it's probably not a good opportunity.
I don't think you should worry too much about recognition. The main thing is your skills and what you can do, not necessarily where you worked. Yeah, a big name is nice. But there are more important things.
Pro
Brand recognition is nice, but it’s not the end all be all. If you’re able to hype up the skills you use in your new company, future employers would still give you opportunities.

I’d recommend staying at a big firm until you reach more seniority and then consider pivoting.
