Definitely not too early to leave. As long as you’re not consistently switching jobs every year, you’re good. You gotta do what’s best for you
Will definitely be following up with you!
I jumped from my first job at 8months. Who cares.
That sounds terrible. Sorry OP. Looks like they’re milking you. Has nobody offered to help cover/lighten that load? Have you vocalized this? People will keep loading stuff on your plate until you advocate for yourself. If they think you have no problem with it then they don’t think twice. Just something to consider before jumping. The hiring market is very slow right now. Think carefully and good luck
There’s been talk of moving it off of me but like you said the hiring market is slow right now and generally they make someone new do this so someone to take over this project hasn’t come into our team yet.
I’d wait to hit a year or ideally 1.5 years if you want employers to count your experience
Don’t wait. If the rest of your resume is consistent, this little blip won’t affect you too much. That has been my personal experience.
May i ask where you work at now? Im trying to look for entry level opportunities rn
I’m at Blackrock currently. Great culture. Generally don’t mind working late l as I’ve gotten on some pretty cool projects from volunteering for things. But the daily grind of not getting a ton of sleep and having to work on this every evening has been slowly killing me.
Start looking now so you land at a position in a few months. Recruiting is a long process.
