Mean how? Sometimes you have to be strict with employees and this sometimes gets misunderstood as being mean by new hires who are not used to working environements
Well, what was your mistake? if your mistake endangers people it's understandable that they'll communicate that in a stern way, but if they;re being petty that's a different matter entirely
Learn from it and don't do it again, then complain about them with your coworkers once they can't hear you. At least that's what we do around here lol
That's just how some bosses are, sadly. Just do your best to figure out how they like things done so you don't have to deal with them bugging you or being rude
Sorry to hear you got mistreated at work, some people just lack the tact to deal with others. Don't take it personal, your boss probably just wants the job well done even if they can't healthily communicate that
Thank him/her for that. It'll make you a better person/worker, cos you wouldn't want that to happen again. Learn and improve
First, take a deep breath and give yourself some time to calm down. Then, try to talk to your boss about what happened. Explain that you made a mistake and you're sorry for it. Ask what you can do to make up for it. Hopefully, your boss will be understanding and help you move past the mistake.
Try to stay calm. It's natural to feel upset or defensive after your boss is critical, but it's important to stay focused and try to resolve the situation.
Try to figure out what exactly you did wrong. Sometimes it can be tough to admit when we make a mistake, but it's important to do so in order to correct it. Apologize for your mistake and offer to fix it. It might help to explain what went wrong and how you'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
