Is it worth taking a pay cut from 125k to 95k to move to fp&a?

Personally no. I would take a small cut, but 25% is steep.

like

That's a lot of money. The only way I would do that is if I was in a relationship where I wasn't the primary breadwinner.

like

I wouldn't take the pay cut. It isn't hard to move business lines and keep the same wage.

likehelpful

A 30k pay cut is a lot. A 5k is not. It kinda depends on your budget too. Does 95k after tax meet your living needs? Even if it does, there has to be a role that will pay you the same or slightly more

like

Depends if this is the career route you want AND the pay will increase soon to your current level. Not worth it otherwise IMO

What do you do now?

Look for a job more in the 60k ballpark, CAD. Seems more appropriate for Canada

No, it is too steep of a cut. Are you transferring internally or going elsewhere ?

I wouldn’t take the pay cut in this economy. I’d keep doing current job and shop around some more.

like

No I wouldn’t.

In the world we love in today, definitely not.

Never take a pay cut

2) Do any Master Programs in Here (India) and get a job.
Suggest some ways other than this also welcomed.

Hi everyone.
Just reached final on-site round for a Senior Manager position in the logistics department. Role is for Amazon UK. Recruiter is asking me now for my expected compensation (base salary + total comp) via email. Any idea what to aim for?

I don’t know the level but was aiming £80k base, +15% bonus. If I don’t fall under their budget, would I automatically be removed from candidates?
Any tips are appreciated!
