Is node and express enough to sustain in the market for long run.I am a backend developer and I see everyone is a full stack developer these days with only 1-2 years of experience(not sure how it is possible to master both in 1-2 years)
Should I spend some time in learning the front end technologies for growth?
Disclaimer:I don’t like frontend at all

My understanding is... in software/web development field... We don't need to master technology... But We need good basics, working knowledge of technology then one can learn advanced stuffs on the go... Self learning and exploring skills will increase technical knowledge. This is what 1-2 yoe are doing.
Also no technology is permanent.

I see more demand for Java spring boot and it’s paying good too. If I were you I would explore this first before moving to fronted .

I have heard that most legacy systems specifically mainframes are being replaced and new technologies taking over for similar purpose.
How about employee like us who just started in this mainframe tech . Where will we end up if you stay in this.
Many of onsite leads tells that move of it as they are migrating larger part of it to new platforms but BU heads says it is going to stay for a long long time don't get panicked.
Can anyone let me know the real scenario.??
