I’d try to just enjoy it while it lasts. I don’t remember the last time I had a down week

Book time with your ECD and let them know how you’re feeling. Also make sure you know what you’re good at, as well as where your gaps are. Offer to help in new business, I wish more junior people came to me and offered that. But having an open and collaborative personality, offering to help, and going to your ECD are a good course of action. Contrary to what many folks will tell you on Fishbowl, most of us take our job of supporting the growth of our people pretty seriously.
I’m in a similar situation, but one thing I learned is that no, not everyone is busy. They are doing busy work and not getting anything accomplished.
If you have a light work load start learning new skills and techniques to improve your work and apply for another role in another agency.
Keep doing proactive work, keep busy doing actual work instead of busy work like your coworkers are doing.
Can we swap places pls.
Thats a tough spot to be in, but I think we have all been there at some point. You have to turn that down time into learning opportunities. Check out case studies, what’s trending, catch up on news. If you have a creative resource manager offer to help out on any open projects. If that’s not the case reaching out to any teams and offer your time to throw down ideas always works too. This way if something sticks you’re slotted in on the project. Stay positive, we have all been there 👍🏼
Im sorry to hear about that, it sounds like they just didn’t have the time or decency to give you feedback. Its good to hear whether something can even be saved at all so at least you know for next time 😔
My rule of thumb is follow up once like a date, if they don’t get back to you then move on to another group for projects.
