Got an interview with Amazon within their Advertising department. I hear working for Amazon can be great if you get into the right department. Anyone have insights to their advertising department? Good or bad? Also, would love some interview tips if you have them! (It’s for an Executive Assistant position) thank you!

Maybe add an example on how you delegated the tasks based on everyone’s strength.
To me, that answer sounds really bad. Various places I interviewed, it was always important to come up with a real conflict that was in fact difficult to sort out. So you have to actually describe how you reached a real impasse with someone. This is important because it shows honesty. The above doesn't sound like any real challenge or conflict at all.
This is in tech, so it may be different elsewhere
Keep in mind the challenge doesn’t have to be you saving the day at all. It could be for example an event at your company that normally requires process A but the team decided against doing A out of convenience - you disagreed. Then the worst case scenario that A was to mitigate ends up happening. You have the process formally incorporated into your department policies as a result.

This is a good example if you are going for a mid level position. It shows you can make impact at a team level for a specific point in time. If you want to go for a more senior position you need something that impacted multiple teams over a larger period of time.

Think of a time you had to think outside of the box and needed to learn a new solution or fix a new problem.
Another way to think of it is when you were tight on time for important project and think strategically or had a different opinion than a boss/colleague and how you went around it.
Don’t be afraid of explaining too much, it is a time to paint a story. Better to use real scenarios you experienced, but generalize the parts that aren’t as important.
Most people review the S.T.A.R method when reviewing this question.
To me, the situation is less important than demonstrating logic and clear communication. You might as well make up a story
Challenge and conflict are/can be two different things. Which would/should you choose to elaborate on in an interview?
Try plugging it into ChatGPT for refinement. It’s a little vague to me.
The answer is not a good fit, but esp. boss was out for the day.
Did you ever have a conflict? Use that one please, good luck

I agree with the others it doesn’t sound like a good example, but at the same time it doesn’t sound like a real one. think about starting off with a sentence “something happened a few weeks ago. Let me tell you about that….. ”.
Also, it’s okay if you screwed up in your example because what they’re wanting to hear is how you learnt from it.
They might also be looking to see what your boundaries are at. What time do you go and ask for help versus try and fix it yourself? Do you go to the manager? Your managers manager a different manager?
They will also want to know why you made certain decisions with less time pressure would you have done the same? And more importantly, what does your manager say about it?
I can see why they wrote the answer the way they did and it follows the pattern of a STAR answer. Also, it cleverly doesn't include any actual "Conflict" - at least not with other people - so avoids implying bad things about former companies or coworkers.
However, I agree with a lot of the comments that it is missing real details. I think you could rework this answer to add details to make it feel more specific. As written, it sounds like something from ChatGPT that hits all of the right points and not something that you actually faced.
