Is your first offer always the best offer? Do you leave room in anticipating for negotiation? I try to offer the best offer right off the bat to show the candidate that I value them and am not trying to take advantage of them. How many rounds of negotiation is too many?

No, but it's never an insulting or bad offer either. We try to make an offer we think is attractive while still leaving wiggle room for negotiations. In general, I'd say anything over 3-4 rounds is too much, depending, of course, on the candidate in question.

this is insightful - thanks!

I’ve completed the first interview with the hiring manager and a colleague, and have been fortunate to get to the next stage but im unsure how to prepare. I’ve done the usual compentencies, strengths and weaknesses and company research. But I don’t want to fail at the last hurdle as I really like this company and it would be a dream to work there any support or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Could someone suggest a really good attorney for a contested divorce case in SF Bay Area ? Thanks

My husband repeatedly claims domestic abuse falsely, and it’s getting too much. Now that I have kids he has started saying this to them and they say it back to me. I think he does this because he wants custody of kids or an upper hand when it comes to finances if we end up divorcing. Any ideas on how to handle this
