It feels like no one is actually hiring, I have submitted my resume to so many offices and I’ve completely several job applications with no response back. I just want to work in the criminal law field whether that be a criminal researcher, gathering/examining evidence for trials/investigations, paralegal for the prosecutors office/ public defenders office or a victim advocate, but I can seem to find an opening anywhere. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now.
