It's funny to me, as a millennial, to hear all the stereotypes once said about us to be now about Gen Z. I understand that these are part of the society initiation process, but way? I admit I'm intimidated by them sometimes, but I also embrace their fearlessness in adapting quickly and fluidly. As I see it, the latest generations have moved the workplace to be more humane and introduced new ways of solving problems. Stop picking on Gen Z.

What does a person do who doesn’t find any industry accounting jobs interesting? I’ve been trying to leave for 3-4 years and the only thing that interests me is people focused roles such as sales. I considered recruiting but I’m jaded based on my interactions with most. Public accounting is a decent spot for me but I’m wanting a more consistent schedule of 40-50 and the self centered/dog eat dog culture of my firm continues to crush my soul more and more the longer I stay.
