This is such a rare perspective that I wish more people who felt this way (if there are any) would talk openly about it. Feels like NOBODY likes their jobs, so I am really inspired by hearing from people who actually enjoy what they do, not just for the money but because they enjoy it. Good for you!

Thank you. I feel blessed to have experienced this twice in my career. I’m in-house now. In my early days, I was at an agency for 8 years. I had to move on when we lost a big client and found something else (not as good) before layoffs hit.
I'm holding onto my job for dear life because it's fully remote. I could make a lot more money elsewhere, but it would probably require a commute and a bunch of water cooler conversations with people I don't like. So I will take the lower pay or the ability to work from home.
I feel the same way. I’m also remote and I’m holding onto my role (even though I could make more elsewhere) because the flexibility it gives me is unmatched.

I work from home, which is one of the things I enjoy. I understand your POV. I’m in my 50’s, so my options are limited, which is why I thank God I’m where I am with an opportunity to grow younger creatives.
Hold on to that. It’s a moment in time and you’re in a great spot. Only thing I’d suggest is to not get complacent but continue to build skills and experience so that your job continues to see the value in you as well. Congrats homie
