It's pretty sad if you think about it, but sometimes, good food is the only thing I look forward to in life. Do you have a favorite cozy meal/comfort meal to make when you've had a hard day at work? My idea of comfort has been home-cooked food these days, but I'm pretty done with tomato soup and grilled cheese, so I'm here looking for other options I can move to. Drop your recommendations... and brownie points for anyone who has the patience to drop a link to the recipe.

Random, but valid/persistent thought.

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?

Hi Recruiters,
Let’s talk cover letters.

Bonus points if you can give insight into the way this works with the Creative Department. (I’m a Copywriter.)

Thanks in advance!

Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)

Any LMS recommendations for corporate training scheduling/ logistics? I work for a staffing company and we have large groups of internal employees (recruiters and account managers) who come through training at different points in their career - it’s a pretty manual process right now as we’re tracking in Excel spreadsheets… Looking for a system that can automatically create training groups based on tenure/ promotion dates. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Happy to provide my story on the other side. Spent two years at Accenture under Technology mostly working on business analysis for implementations and PMO.

Left for Facebook for a role in strategic analytics in BizOps with 180k TC.

Few tips for looking at exits:

1) Referrals are a huge tool for getting your foot in the door. At Facebook it guarantees that atleast your resume is given more than a glance.

2) A well constructed story/resume can offset any weak points in your experience
