I’ve been at the same company 20+ years and starting to interview elsewhere for director level roles. Whats the norm for keeping in contact with recruiters? I don’t want to come off as annoying / desperate, but want them to know I am truly interested.

I tend to reach back out if I haven't heard anything in a week or 10 days. Send follow up emails after you talk and after interviews, and don't be afraid to reach out with questions every once in a while if you need to give them a little nudge.

An ISR role opened up, I applied to it but how do I reintroduce myself to the recruiter, how is the interview process different for an ISR vs an SDR interview? How can I highlight my talents?

Hi all, wanted some women's perspective on this. My brother-in-law is dating someone (for 6 months) who he wants to get married to eventually. However, she has not been forthcoming about her student loans or her family's financial situation until recently. He finds it admirable that she pulled herself out of her family's situation and got herself an $85K job in tech. But one of his buddies also had his wife leave him after getting him to pay her $200K loan in one shot. So that doesn't help.

I applied for a job at a well-known healthcare company a couple of months ago. I had a number of remote interviews and then they asked me to fly out for a final round of in-person interviews. Later that week they told me that they were going to be making an offer. Another week has gone by and still no offer. They said they are still working on it. Is this the new norm for recruiting? I have other offers and can't keep waiting for these foot draggers.

I am a senior accountant with a masters and CPA credential and 3 years experience. A colleague was just promoted to senior with no credentials and 10k higher salary. My boss said he can match salary in 3 months when we have our annual review cycle. I don’t think I should have to wait. Also I said I should absolutely be paid higher than peer given my credentials. How much more though??? Also should I push to have it matched now?
