If anyway wants a laugh jump over to instagram and find “therockdrive” couple of Kiwi radio hosts that get nicknames sent in to them and it is hilarious. You’ll get a good 20 mins worth of nicknames rattled off and their reasons behind them.

Crow Man... he had a PhD. In stats, 5-6 crow statues in his office, and would feed the birds in the parking lot everyday.

I am done trying to pretend everything is fine at work. The higher ups on the team kept asking if I’m doing anything fun for the weekend during video calls. I felt the pressure to make something up but I just can’t. I’ve been struggling with depression, loneliness, anxiety with immigration and the fact that I might be out of work soon cuz my visa is expiring. I’m thousands of miles away from my family and I just want everything to stop. But when my manager kept asking in front of everyone am I

If an employee mentions something disparaging or accusatory about their manager during an exit interview, how would you handle? What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation? I.e. employee claimed the manager made a disparaging remark about an item of clothing being worn by someone in accordance with their beliefs. If you opt to share the feedback with the manager, would the manager have a legal case against the company or former employee?

How to deal with people flirting with you at work.
I’m married, and one of my coworkers flirts with me. Nothing super overt, but definitely not professional. We’re good friends and work together constantly because we’re on the same client, so I don’t want to make it awkward. Do I just do nothing and let it go? It is mostly just odd I’m not super offended, but I’m also clearly uninterested!

What is your understanding of the norms around whose names end up on a brief/complaint/motion papers etc.? I’m a midlevel at an AmLaw 20 firm and have twice been the principal drafter of something only to be cut from the signature block. The associate senior to me is on it despite having done far less of the work. And it’s not because it required a rewrite or something. The filed product is 80-90% my work. Am I wrong to be pissed off about this?

I’ve always been a big saver minimum 15% to maxing out my 401k since I graduated college. I’m married to someone who thinks 6% is enough and likes $$$ cars. Other than the cars, they dont really spend money. For the married 🐠, how do you have the conversation with them that what they are doing isn’t enough? I try to guide them and say you want the $$$ cars but the salary you have won’t get there and you’re going to have to find a job that gets them the salary…. Then the fight starts.

I’m curious. What would you say is the best industry / sector for…1. WLB, 2. Great people / team, 3. Exit opp’s., and 4. Overall (mix of the above). Goes without saying the obvious “it depends on office, team, project, client, etc.” So this is an ask for general observations.
