No. If you feel you deserve more, ask for it and tell them why. Give something other than years of experience. Make a case from accomplishments.
THIS. But understand companies are in control in the market right now.
She said it capped out at 110k and you’re ok to proceed with the interview, and they offered 110k.
I generally don’t think it’s wrong to negotiate, but in this case, it’s insane.

Idk. In my experience I have not seen EAs make 120k. You should do your market research and see what other companies are paying for the same job in the same industry and city. If other EAs make 120k then what you’re asking for is justified because you also have the experience to back it up. But if others aren’t making that, then why would the company pay you above what the market is offering?
It may be time to level up and pivot into a different higher paying role (senior level role or management/leadership). Certain jobs really do max out unfortunately and I think EA is one of them.

Yea I agree it varies depending on the field. But I honestly can’t imagine an admin position making like $150k or even close to $200k. I don’t see it going higher than $125k. Just what I see. And I work in high cost of living city where salaries are competitive.
