I’ve been reviewing SaaS MSAs published online (exciting day) and noticed some have sections addressing the SaaS provider’s use of “usage data” derived from the customer’s usage of the product for purposes of product improvement, analytics, etc. Others, however, do not address this in their MSA, although I’m sure they do use data in similar ways. Is this because it’s already addressed in their privacy policies? Does it not matter where it’s addressed?

What’s your work-life balance like? I feel like I’m constantly working after hours, always balancing multiple projects, hardly ever going through a phase where there isn’t a ton of critical initiatives going on. It definitely wasn’t like this when I was a more junior PMM, but as a Senior PMM, my work-life balance has severely decreased. Is this just the nature of Product Marketing? Or can I actually find a senior PMM role that allows a bit more room to breathe?

Why are people so quiet in here?

Having major imposter syndrome still. I feel like the minute I finally have a grasp, something changes. The law and nuances just seem overwhelming. Maybe it’s just a lack of guidance/uniformity in the US. I’m not sure if I feel this way because it is simply the nature of the work or because I’m just not capable.
