After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Are you saying leadership seminars don't work?!?!

I'm serving notice period in TCS and my last day is in 2 weeks. I requested for pickup of laptop in the portal but I came to know that it will take time for pickup and I won't be available if they come late. So I decided to go to office and surrender the laptop as I'm in the location of office only. Is there a seperate request to be raised for surrender of laptop and how to cancel the existing request for pickup. Please guide.Tata Consultancy

Stay away friend. For your own good.
Is it bad WLB? Or leadership? What’s the main thing?
Sinking ship, my friend. Great if you’re an underpaid mercenary looking to get in and get out after a year or so, but the base compensation is low for tech and the RSUs are becoming longer-term and more conditional (not to mention flatlining in value, which kinda defeats the purpose of joining tech in the first place).
I’d say it’s worth it if you’re not getting paid well right now and are okay with being a Meta/Facebook employee. Their reputation is kinda poor for desperation hiring and not being able to recruit the best talent anymore.
Meta compensation is lower for legal relative to big law. Lower for SWE relative to other big tech. Analysts at Meta make less than those in big fin. Basically lower across the board within any given career track relative to both its direct competitors and it’s specialized counterparts, and getting worse due to their over reliance on RSUs for compensation and poor stock performance.
At least according to their own employees, Glassdoor, and levels.fyi.
To their credit, they do take just about anyone so it’s a great opportunity for mercenaries and people looking for a foot in the door of tech. But the latter is probably less and less relevant because they’re not really innovating anymore and don’t confer tech credentials comparable to other places, and the RSU performance is historically low (removing one of the major benefits for talent to join a growth-based tech firm).
It just makes you wonder why someone would take a job there that pays less than they could get somewhere else doing virtually the same job, and probably have a more stable compensation package that doesn’t depreciate like this:
