I’ve been told that the work I’m doing with CDC is DOGE-proof, thank goodness. I’ve been through reorgs before, but the scale of what’s happening at this time around is next-level. It's crazy how invisible contractors are in all this. We’re rarely mentioned in these layoff stories, but our compensation and job security are deeply tied to these agencies.
