Feel as guilty as the company who laid you off felt. Which is not guilty at all.
^ this
No, you really shouldn't feel guilty. A big part of why the job market is the way it is right now is because of the greed of companies. You don't owe them loyalty, just like they don't owe you loyalty. Take whatever job you can find so that you have an income again, and then keep looking for something better.
I don't think you should feel guilty at all. I have been through too much to understand that every business needs to look for what is best for them. So, you must think of your family and about your life. If you do your best while at the company, there is nothing to feel guilty about.
I'm about to start substitute teaching to save my ass while I keep looking.
I’ve been laid off twice now and I’m only 25. Both times it was handled pretty poorly so my advice is do what YOU need to do to survive because the company will ultimately do the same if push comes to shove.
No, u should do it
You should consider temp work to keep money flowing, new networking opportunities, and different experiences. You might even find that next job!
