I've been working at my company for 7 years. Is it just me or is every year just a different variation of a shit show? All the best planning and intentions in the world but things just do not seem to be changing! Today I learned a new thing. One candidate was referred by a colleague of mine in the system. He got selected and offer letter rolled out.

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

I just finished what I thought was the final round of interviews for a job that I really want. Everything has been going extremely well. The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Is this a red flag?

We functioned as the Marketing team for 4 brands and primarily focused on product launches and sustaining social media content.
