Getting mentored or being a mentor? Be realistic with your time. Being stretched too thin and trying to include more will be a bad experience on either side of mentoring.

Either or but I like your advice. I agree with you. It’s important to find balance when mentoring others or being mentored to. I’ve seen so many mentors putting so much time and end up crashing out and quitting their job.

To be honest, I don't carve out dedicated time for it. It happens on the floor in real time. Quick corrections, explaining why we do things a certain way, stuff like that. Doesn't seem like much, but those informal teachings make a difference over time.

That’s very true. I am also on the floor at my job and it happens very frequently without me even noticing it. Mentoring comes that easy for me when I am around my colleagues.

I've been contacted by a recruiter from PwC about roles in their new "PwC Cloud Practice".

Does anyone have any info on this new practice and how it differs to mainline PwC?

I know a lot of Management Consultancies set up their Tech Subsidiaries like a poor relative with sub par expenses and compensation policies etc. Don't know if this is the case here?

Class size is a big deal, in NY a new piece of legislation was signed to bring down student count per class from 34 to 25 over the next few years. How big are your CTE classes? In NYC, they’re typically about 28 students.
