I've been contacted by a recruiter from PwC about roles in their new "PwC Cloud Practice".

There is no „new PwC cloud practice“. Cloud&Digital is a normal practice within consulting. No subsidiary, and not new.
D1: Even speaking of WLB is frowned upon at PwC! I mentioned the long hours once and a group of Directors passed condescending remarks at me at team dinner! Deloitte cares wayyy more about Well Being and employees than PwC. Stay put at D
I’m not in the C&D group but work with them often. They seem to operate just like everyone else
I am in C&D and can confirm this.
I spoke to the recruiter and he basically asked me what I do. After he had approached me on LinkedIn and I assumed at least had a look at my current Job Title even if he didn't open my profile. And then he proceeded to list out all the job titles they were looking for and ask me for each one if it was what I do.
I work in delivery management and all the roles were for Dev/Architecture type roles so the answer was "no, not really" and essentially he said the usual recruiter Ghosting phrase of "we will keep you in mind for other roles that come up" and then ended the call.
Doesn't give a great impression tbqh.
