I've had a wonderful interview this morning with a great company. It went so well I don't even mind if I get it or not - they were very relaxed, questions all answerable. The company is fully remote with only get togethers when is appropriate and they're not mandatory. They only do 1 interview then give an offer, no tasks, no fluff, just experience, competency questions and cultural fit. Loved it.

(1) I’m at a midsize firm with great team members/mentor in this practice area, what is the Milwaukee office’s culture like as far as mentorship and collegiality?

(2) Is 1900 hours a reasonable estimate of how many hours I would actually work as an associate/what are normal hours for an associate?

(3) What are your biggest concerns/frustrations with Foley and/or the Milwaukee office?

Are there any fully remote lawfirms, ie you don't have to live in the state they have offices? I recently left a large lawfirm to go in-house which came with a huge paycut that is not going to be sustainable long term, but needed a remote position to be able to move. I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. I’m getting put up for manager a year early. I have PPMD ,SM, and M support. Pretty much support from all the key individuals on my team and in my service line. Since it is a year early if i don’t get promoted this round I know it’ll come mid year but I do expect a good salary increase still without the promo.
