Are there any fully remote lawfirms, ie you don't have to live in the state they have offices? I recently left a large lawfirm to go in-house which came with a huge paycut that is not going to be sustainable long term, but needed a remote position to be able to move. I'd like to keep my current job part-time but get back in a lawfirm too.

Question for ex-consulting (esp MBB) folks who landed up at Google - are you happy with the decision you took? Why / why not? I'm an MBB Consultant with an offer for a role in Strat Ops in another country. Also evaluating a similar role in a fast growing, publicly lister SaaS company closer to home - faster growth, more flex to work remotely. Want to understand if consulting folks are happy with Google overall, despite a potentially slower / more open ended growth path.

Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Hi everyone. Is it typical for the attorney to take credit for the work a paralegal does? An example: I gave some ideas about deposition questions and some observations I made (I was asked about giving suggestions) regarding a witness and the attorney mentioned that he’s the one that had these great questions/observations. Zero credit or thank you for the work I did.

So I have my bachelors in criminal justice and I just finished my paralegal certificate course today. My attorney should be making partner this year. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner. Should I mention to her Monday that I completed my paralegal certificate in hopes that the raise will be bigger or should I wait until June when she makes partner.thoughts?
