I’ve had four jobs in six years, and I’m starting to wonder if the salary bumps are worth the churn. I’ve grown fast and nearly doubled my comp, but I feel like I’m always onboarding, always adjusting, always explaining my resume. The instability is catching up to me. At what point do you slow down and stabilize vs keep chasing comp?

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?
